In Seattle this week, birthplace of Starbucks which is often my salvation with my road warrior peripatetics. Starbucks offers an inspired embrace of rubbish highlighted by Purple Cow’s Susanne Dansey and her series ‘Remarkability in Action’.
How about giving your garbage to your customers?
I’m not sure how many customers would proactively embrace the term ‘garbage’
. This particular example is used to demonstrate company by-products that can be play an influencing role within the customer life cycle.
Thanks for the acknowledgement too… I have all these images on my phone of things that I see as remarkable (or not) that I thought it best to share. It’s much easier to get the point across using examples where others have already trodden.
