International Disability Day today celebrates removing barriers to create an inclusive and accessible society for all. Fourteen year old Jack Carroll with cerebral palsy laughs at those barriers and brings us all closer to his world by turning his adversity into hilarity.

  • “I am in quite a lot of pain, but there is always people worse off than you. Just swallow your tablets and get on with the day…Look on the bright side. That’s my motto. I’ve never had to queue at Disneyland! I think that laughter helps to cope with tragedy and loss and disease all that sort of stuff.”

Jack was recently honoured with a ‘Pride of Britain Award’ (see above) in which he showcased his irreverently comical perspective on life in the most inspiring way.
